A PhD position is available for a project on deep learning for protein design, jointly offered by Sorbonne University and Grenoble Alpes University. The project aims to identify sequence variations induced by alternative splicing that are relevant to protein function, and use this information to train a probabilistic model for protein design. The project will involve experiments with encoder-decoder, attention mechanism, and active learning.
